hpc3: Description


The ISU Office of Academic Technologies (AIT) as part of the HPC Partnership maintains a 60-processor Alpha Cluster called hpc3 in addition to the 16-processor and 32-processor Origin 2000s hpc1 and hpc2. This machine's configuration is determined by the Partnership and may change from time to time to meet the needs of the members. hpc3 is intended to provide partner members with access to a fast clustered machine capable of running very large problems. Availability of this machine to non-partner members not allowed .
