The Office of the Vice President of Research and Economic 
Development has funded access to the lightning supercomputer,
http://www.it.iastate.edu/research/hpcp, to support research,
especially the research of new faculty and staff.

Trial grants will be given for 15,000 CPU hours of time. Disk 
storage of 160GB of permanent storage and access to 2 TB of 
shared scratch storage is included while the grant is in effect. 

Application for these grants is made by filling out the information 
below and clicking on the SUBMIT button.  You will be notified of 
the results of your application within 10 working days of submission.
