High Performance Computing For Students - Software

Software

This machine will be running "ISU Linux" to allow faculty and students to use their Net-ID and the file storage facilities that are already available to them. The cluster uses the Intel Fortran 95, C, and C++ compilers, the Intel scientific libraries, the Intel performance tool, and MPI-CHECK for debugging Fortran MPI programs. Instructors and/or departments will be responsible or providing additional specialized software to be used by classes. The following is a complete list of software available on this machine:

OS:
 RedHat Enterpise Linux 4.3 with ISU Linux extensions for login, afs, etc.

Intel Compilers:
 Fortran 77, Fortran 90 compilers (/usr/bin/f77 /usr/bin/f90)
 C and C++ Compilers (/usr/bin/cc /usr/bin/CC)

MYRINET:
 Myrinet MPICH-GM compilers for F77, F90  ( /usr/local/myricom_mpich/mpich-1.2.5..10/bin/mpif77
                                  /usr/local/myricom_mpich/mpich-1.2.5..10/bin/mpif90)
 Myrinet MPICH-GM compilers for C and C++ ( /usr/local/myricom_mpich/mpich-1.2.5..10/bin/mpicc
                                  /usr/local/myricom_mpich/mpich-1.2.5..10/bin/mpiCC)
