Students may have access to this high performance computer even if none of their instructors have requested an allocation. This machine is to be used only for educational purposes and not to support research funded by external grants or contracts. To obtain access to this machine, each student must give a brief description of why he or she wants to use this machine and what this machine will be used to do. Allocations will be made on a semester basis. Students will be given an allocation of 500 Service Units (500 CPU hours). Requests for allocations larger than this will be considered by a committee of students and instructors. After filling out this form, you will be notified by email if your request has been granted. If you have questions when filling out this form, please contact the Solution Center, room 195 Durham, 294-4000. Required responses are marked in red.
